The so-called granuloma of the pools is a bacterial infection that appears in the knees and elbows. It occurs when the water contains the bacterium Mycobacterium marinum, which can penetrate through a cut or wound in the skin. The foot fungus is the most common infections in the skin, fungi that grow in damp or polluted environments. As preventive measures, avoid walking barefoot in spaces such as changing rooms of the pools, dry your feet well when leaving the water and do not share towels or swimsuits.
