What’s new at SXSW EDU?
Today at SXSW EDU, we are revealing the Chromebook App Center by Google for Education App Hub is a resource for educators to share and discover Chromebook apps and classroom concepts. The App Hub assists designers expand their apps’ reach and offers a platform for our developer partners to provide, for while providing school stakeholders more openness into their policies as they make choices. Register to get alerted when App Center is offered later on this year.
Creative apps help redefine what’s possible in education. That’s why we support EdTech designers through Google Cloud for Startups Through mentorship, training and totally free credits, Google Cloud for Startups allows early-stage EdTech startups to get up and running rapidly and quickly.
We’re also supporting startups at SXSW through sponsorship of the EDU pitch competition Finalists will be eligible for the Glow Program ($20,000 in Cloud credits) and the winner will get the Surge Plan ($100,000 in credits). We’re also hosting a variety of sessions for developers at the conference.
